transferring files

not sure i'm in the correct group but here's my question. . .are there
programs that can transfer files from the hard drive on one computer to the
hard drive on another computer. . .thanks for any info

Certainly, when buying a new hd, most makers send a cd with utilities to do
just that, and if not the cd there is a web address where you can download
the utilities.
but what your talking about is similar to hooking two pc's together and
making a network where they communicate with each other.

an easier way is to use an external SATA or USB drive to move the data from
pc to pc, and these day fairly cheap I have two external sata drives 300 Gig
less than $100 bucks, and using sata is fast.
