Hi
1.Uninstall Mcafee program
2.Reboot the pc
3.Install Microsoft Windows installer using below mentioned link
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=889482FC-5F56-4A38-B838-DE776FD4138C&displaylang=en
4.Reboot the pc &clean the temp files
5.Try to install Mcafee
6.Autoupdate the virus definitions
