I recently migrated an old XP system to a new one. The old XP system was able
to login to the SBS server as a workgroup computer fine, but the new system
couldn't access server shares due to authentication problem. so I tried to
log the new system into the server with a domain logon which worked but is a
different user id.
The problem now is twofold. The migration wizared put all the files in the
local logon folder (documents and settings/user1) where as the domain logon
puts them in user@mydomain.local's folder.
What is the best way to have the domain user take over these local user
documents (.doc, .jpg etc).
Also when logged onto the domain the user doea not seem to have local
Administrator privileges even though he is a member of the administrators
group.
