On a network with a 95 based file server, and xp machines, files are
moving into different directories on their own. At first I thought the
files were dissapearing, but they are just found in different
directories.

It keeps happening, is there any bugs like this or is it human error?

Re: files move to different directory on their own?

Most likely it is the user accidentally dragging and dropping files. Are the
folders that the files move into mostly subfolders of the folder the file
was originally located in?
