Great.

Pay Dell an extra $100 to put XP on the system (of your choice?).

I don't think the OP was looking for that - but she doesn't want to do
it herself either. But she's been awol from this thread for a few days
so she's probably gonzo.

Re: Looking to upgrade... XP or Vista???

You may want to wait for that purchase.... Microsoft's new Windows version
{Windows7} *MAY* be out by the middle of 2009 {or even earlier}.

With the shear number of critical updates Microsoft has released for XP AND
VISTA [many addressing the same continuing issues], perhaps the newer
version will have these issues *actually* corrected rather than patched.

It isn't that. He's had too much XP/Vista-irradiation after his tinfoil
hat burnt off! :-).

That'll only leave two to chew with. :)

I'm pretty sure my own grandmother got along with just two for 3 years
before getting her dentures, Buffalo. (But hers fell out without even
any XP-irradiation.)

So... I THINK MEB can handle it! It was in my calculations!

Hi,
Purchase Vista, install Microsoft Virtual PC, install Windows 98 in
Virtual PC, and continue to run Windows 98.

OK, then! And I was pretty sure my expertise in these matters predates
yours!
