I'm trying to copy files between NTFS drives and I'm getting this:
A search for the name turned up several candidates, with this being the file in the path that had the longest name:
I:\backup_original_2014_12_10\utilities\code\boost\boost_1_55_0\boost_1_55_0\libs\geometry\doc\html\geometry\reference\spatial_indexes\boost__geometry__index__rtree\rtree_parameters_type_const____indexable_getter_const____value_equal_const____allocator_type_const___.html
The text file containing this path is 271 characters long.
This error pops up repeatedly for different files during the copy.
I can navigate to this location using the command prompt or Windows Explore, but attempting to display the HTML file pops up an error window saying "The file name is too long."
Is there a way to copy these files to different drives?
Thanks
Larry
