Re: My Vista Experience.
--------
I have another potential Limitation/Feature to add to my Vista list
which is based purely on my personal experience.
(Note: this list is for the benefit other Vista users out there that
may be able to take advantage of my time spent in toiling with
compatibility issues with while using Vista )
I could not run an ISO file from the hard-drive while I was using
Vista.
I was trying to use "alcohol 52" virtual CD to work while using
Vista, (BTW, it works great with XP).
A buddy also complained that he couldn't find any way to run an
ISO file from the hard-drive with Vista.
Has anyone ever gotten this to work, or is it a really bad Vista
limitation?

Below: I consolidated and added notes to my list to be more Vista
specific.

* Annoyance.

NOTE: I may have been wrong.
Apparently, this will turn it off.
type "Services" at the (Start Search bar), right click on the Windows
Search service and select "Properties". Then choose "Disabled" for the
start type. Afterwards, you have to stop this service by right
clicking on it and selecting "Stop".

* Note: AOL was not completely fixed as it would always disco

* Nero 6.3, (this was on the MS site as a compatible product)
* When installing, there was a warning that this was Vista

* but worse, the DVD Drive completely vanished from my explorer!!
*
* FIX: None,
* I had to do a rollback to a previous time.
* Uninstalled Nero. to this date, Nero of any flavor does not
withVista.
NOTE: this didn't work for me, but others say that Nero 6.x has
limited functionality.
Nero's official stance, upgrade to version 7 or 8.

* Workaround: None, but...
* I bought Video Show Expressions. This worked, but was really not as

* So now I have sunk more money into theVistaincompatibility issue for
