I was investigating about your issue, and probably found the problem, related to a bug of VS.NET 2003.
For this reason, I was preparing a mail, asking to you some tests to do:
- Have you enabled an AntiVirus? Please try to disable it.
- Please install Windows Script 5.6, from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=C717D943-7E4B-4
622-86EB-95A22B832CAA&displaylang=en
- Are you using a Remote Web Server for ASP.NET projects?
- Which process takes 90% CPU while editing a source file?
- Have you loaded some 3rd party add-ins?
- Please locate your files *.licx (license files) and delete every
eventual blank line (this is probably the bug, youve encountered)
Anyway, being the problem solved, the previous recommendations could be
useful in future.
Being the problem solved, Im going to close this case. Please remember
that, as the problem is probably related to a bug of the product, you
wont be charged for any technical support incident.
