I must quit Online Games

Nerseus:
Couldnt Diablo be considered an offshoot of what Gauntlet was?

mutant:
Great MMORPG. Although I preferred it before they started adding the PVP rewards. I mean, nothing wrong with rewards so long as theyre balanced, but the skills they added for that threw everything out of wack. :( Probably fixed by now, but it was a mess back in the day (about 6 months after release is when they were added).

Im looking forward to World of Warcraft and Guild Wars. :) Im sure most are familiar with WoW, but for those who dont know GW is being made by ex-Blizzard employees. It looks damn nice, and is quite promising from what Ive read;

HUM, I cant wait til Final Fantasy XI is here. If Im a junkie with SOCOM II, cant imagine if Ill be able to sleep with FFXI :)

Kool I havent seen this in years oh the memories:) ThnX

Hog: I have an xBox, but Id still rather play Duke3D, Transport Tycoon or other old favourites of mine than most of the games Ive seen for it!
I agree, I spent days playing Wolf3D for example! But going back further in time...ah PacMan on the Atari home console:D I lived, eat and slept it....

Mods

Right now Ive got "luv" for Quake 3 - specifically the "Urban Terror" mod. When asked why I enjoy killing soldiers and other people so much, my response is that I dont enjoy random killing...I enjoy humiliating friends... (with the help of a random grenade launch to a friends virtual head.) :D Its all about bragging rights and being goofy. heh

iebidan:

Is that a platform game (like PS2/XBox)? Ive got a PS2 but havent started to get into the online thing with game systems just yet...perhaps SOCOM II should be my intro? heh...

yes, SOCOM II is for PS2, but youll need the network adapter and broadband to be able to play it (or at least 128)
Try it, youll not regret it ;)

Actually, this wouldnt be too hard to program with a Winsock, a
Comm control, and a spliced link cable, now, would it? Hmm,
ideas, ideas....
You would be suprices, the link of the emulator would be easy if you know your way around winsock, but interpreteting the calls to the link port of the gba is a bit harder.
