Date store in different table in sql server how many days product stay in shop, code only in vb.net, not store procedure use

hi

i need code in vb.net. i have 2 tables

Sale Table ->Sale Date (save in sale table)

Purchase Table-> Purchase Date (save in purchase table)

now guide me how to find out the no of days product stay at my shop.

Please do not use store procedure. use only vb.net with connection string.
