I have just discovered a similar problem.....message pops up constantly and
is aggravating beyond belief....tried to go into system as you suggested by I
don't show anything having to do with "duplex" or other key words in the
items listed for fixing/changing. I am using XP Home/Service Pack 2 OS.
Checked all connections and they are just fine.

Does anybody have a clue about how to fix this thing? Thanks.
