Re: Article: Has Microsoft Disavowed Vista?
eWeek? eWeek?? eWeek???
What is eWeek? Aha, it is e-W-e-e-k!!!!! I got it. A new kid on the block
that has been around for a few weeks and has already established itself as a
flagship of international media. A trend and opinion setter! It is on every
congressman's office desk before he grabs a cup of coffee. It is on the top
of the pile of information he reads obscuring even the New York Times and
Washington Post! It is in the White House! The President and the First Lady
have its electronic messages projected on the walls of their bathrooms when
they first wake up from sleep.
Yep, Ladies and Gents. I should have known.
In fact eWeek is a small piece of sh*it on a paper plate hoping to survive
beyond its second anniversary. The editor makes ends meet by taking a night
job cleaning MS offices. His design is to sell short a few shares of the
powerful company, publish an article. take a couple of his buddies to a beer
pub and tell them what to do. Then a "devastating opinion" appears hoping
that the public takes the bate, Then he makes a couple of grand and the
"publication" is alive another month or two.
This is a quote form the MS balance sheet:
Since Windows Vista became generally available one year ago, Microsoft's
Client business has grown over 20% on average and sales of Windows Vista
have surpassed 100 million licenses.
"We are pleased with the progress of Windows Vista in the market. We've hit
our stride with partners and customers and are looking forward to the
release of our first service pack later this quarter," said Kevin Johnson,
president of the Platforms and Services Division at Microsoft.
Sales to business customers remained brisk in the quarter with Microsoft
Business Division and the Server and Tools business each experiencing
double-digit revenue growth rates over the prior year and together increased
revenue over $1 billion versus the comparable quarter last year. Microsoft
Business Division generated 23% business revenue growth driven by the
versions of Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Exchange
that were launched last November.
End of quote.
And IDIOT NoStop cannot see writing on the wall.
