OK. I understand. I sincerely apologize to anyone and everyone who was
offended by my post. I also apologize for posting the thread in the first
place.
I apologize to all the people in America who enjoy their freedoms and
constitutional rights but don't want to give credit to and don't care about
the men and women who died a horrible death while protecting those rights
and freedoms.
I apologize to our founding fathers who had the preposterous and
idiotic idea that future Americans would care about the rights and
privileges they enjoy and the sacrifices made by our military for the
purpose of defending and retaining those rights and privileges.
I apologize to our future children and dependents who must suffer
because Americans no longer give a damn about the sacrifices made by our
armed forces.
I apologize to all the foreigners (including my ancestors and the
ancestors of everyone else living in this country) who had or have a desire
to come to America so that they may better their lives, better provide for
their children and enjoy the rights and liberties we possess. America is not
the country it was in the past. America's values have changed.
I apologize to all my friends and family members who suffered immensely
and died horrible deaths while defending our rights and liberties.
Last, but not least, I apologize in advance to my two sons, who in all
probability will die at the hands of a terrorist in the foreseeable future.
I didn't realize how little Americans cared about the protectors of our
freedom.
To all of you who were not offended by my post I thank you from the
bottom of my heart. I was only trying to inform people of the despicable
actions of the Berkeley council and mayor. I care deeply about this great
country of ours and I care deeply about all of our servicemen and
servicewomen who returned to this country maimed, disfigured, paralyzed or
in a coffin. I care deeply about their family members. I salute all of them
and they have my everlasting and unwavering gratitude and respect.
Yes, I was wrong for posting the thread and yes, I knew in advance that
I would be criticized and chastised for posting the comment, but I didn't
care. In my stupidity I thought people would want to know what the city of
Berkeley had done. I was wrong about this also. I chose to post in the
discussion group because of the large audience. Let's just bury our heads in
the sand so that we are not aware of the continuing decay of this country.
When our mainland is attacked in the future, and it will be sooner than
later, don't cry for help from the military you so readily ignore and
condemn. When, in the near future, our own government is successful in
reducing or eliminating our basic rights and freedoms, and we are prevented
from doing things that were once our right to do, don't call on our military
to help you. Are you even aware that our military has a constitutional right
to overthrow our own government given the right circumstances? Probably not.
That's how much American's know about their own constitution.
I will continue to post to the discussion groups, but only when I am
seeking an answer to a problem I am having related to Vista. I will continue
to read the discussion groups so that I may increase my knowledge. However,
I refuse to post otherwise. I've had enough. That should make a multitude of
the discussion group users happy.
For those of you who wish to make a "private" comment I invite you to
send the comments to
c.b.mullen@windowslive.com or

comments can be positive or negative as I refuse to infringe on the free
speech rights of others.
Have a nice day.
