Then you will have to go in and disable all your automatically starting
programs (MSConfig), and see if that resolves it. If it does, great. Now all
you have to do is start enabling them one by one, and you'll find out which
one kills it.

I am once again reminded of what my mechanic told me when I complained about
my car not running properly:
"Well, try turning things off one at a time - turn off the radio, the
wipers, disable the power seats, disable the lights, and keep turning things
off until your car runs starts to run right again....."
