As there is virtually no difference in surfing, email and spreadsheets on
linux, xp and vista I conclude that its *user* problems if you can't get one
of them to work. Stop blaming the tools and learn how to use them.

Actually Photoshop (and the whole Adobe CS suite) and MS Office 2008
run just fine on my Mac. So do lots of other mainstream software
packages.

BTW, "comparable" programs don't cut it. In order to exchange
documents with others the application has to be 100% compliant.
