So you print fake checks to yourself and send them by mail to yourself huh?
Nothing like make-for-real to keep that delusional schizophrenic mentality
of yours at peak performance!

You are a crazy moron... the best thing that happened to you in your whole
pathetic life
was that I took the time to insult you.

Sure, Frank, sure.

Re: Vista is "New Coke"

Personal opinions aside, and making no comments about the relative
merits of XP or Vista OS's, the facts are that Corporate America is
not rushing out to replace XP with Vista. Not even Intel, a company
with a fairly cozy relationship with Microsoft.
Intel decided to only allow Vista to be installed on a small number of
their machines; all others will continue to use XP. This was from a
recent a news story in the NYT.
The majority of Vista users are those who found that only Vista was
sold by OEM from whom they bought their new PC's or laptops. That does
not reflect a true choice of the marketplace but rather a reflection
of OEM contractual agreements with Microsoft.
A really superior product does not require blackmail to achieve public
acceptance. A superior product, sold at a reasonable price would be
readily adopted by a customer base whom had never been given any
reason in the past to be suspicious of a giant in it's field who has
burned its customers many time before. In this light, Vista and
Microsoft is no different than any major US automobile building
corporation. Fool me thrice( or more) is not nice. It is enough to
cause potential buyers to have serious reservations.

Nor did they rush out to replace 2K with XP.

Read the official release from Intel. It's their usual procedure with
all OS's.

Not true.

That does

No, it reflects a true market place. Otherwise, sales would come to a
screeching halt. They didn't.

Then if linux is a "superior product", and is free, why is it's desk top
adaption only at 1% after almost 15+yrs?

In this light, Vista and

Really?

Fool me thrice( or more) is not nice. It is enough to

It's still all about informed buyers and choice. The market speaks for
itself.

- When Vista was still in it's whisper stages, as in nowhere near release,
corporate Australia was saying that there will be no upgrade this side of
the decade. I don't think corporate US had an upgrage in mind either. It's
more to do with business descisions.

- I bet the relationship is still very much cozy.

- Ever wondered if the NYT has Vista installs anywhere.....! NYT has no
'truth credibility'.

- XP was the same, maybe still is.

- You should do some work in Market Research.

- Bull...! Now we're back to your person opinion.
