Yes I tried the restore and it went back to a earlier date but I still
was unable to log into my machine in normal windows mode. Man I just
want to throw this computer out the window.
Do you think I could have some kind of Maleware that changed the
settings around or something?

Where did you get the driver update? Was it Windows Update?

@WADEB_21
I found another way to repair it. If you really have some trouble with
permission maybe help you, when you'll finish scan.I've exported DACLs
from my computer and try to import to you - I don't know this really
good idea but you have little to lose...
Download this file 'aclfileN.zip'
(http://www.speedyshare.com/704932996.html) ,unpack it and place i.e on
C:,then type in *cmd.exe*

*icacls c:\windows /restore C:\aclfileN*

I haven't had a chance to run the scan yet that you told me to
yesterday. I will try and run the scan today then do the zip file above.

When I burn the scan to a disk do I boot my computer from the disk so
it scans when the computer first turns on?

Of course it is bootable CD/DVD (with mouse service of corse) and then
you boot it appear menu there click scan and will work.

PS.I will have no time for 2 days now so I have to leave you alone at
the moment.Probably in this time you'll count only yourself.Good luck!

Re: The Application Failed to Initialize properly (0xc0000022) Click Ok to Terminate the

So I was able to find a work around on how to get past this error code
and log into my the system in normal mode.
What I did was I went to this link
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67567-administrator-account.html
I enable the built in admin account and was able to log in I then
transferred all my documents and everything I had in my other account to
this account, and everything seems to be working fine now.
The thing is I still get that error message if I create another user
account, I can only use the built in admin account. For now it seems to
be working so I'll take it.

Re: The Application Failed to Initialize properly (0xc0000022) Click Ok to Terminate the

If you have UAC turned on and situation is what you told above - there
is proof you have trouble with permissions  for limited users but
where...,there is possible if my zip file fails:huh:..
Maybe check permissions for C:\Users

'[image: http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/4247/usef0.jpg]'

it should be as above.Pay attention especially permissions for Users
group

Re: The Application Failed to Initialize properly (0xc0000022) Click Ok to Terminate the

See mine is defferent. The read and List folder contents is checked but
the Read & Execute is not checked and it wont let me edit it. Its weird
because when I create a new user when I'm logged in with the built in
account I give the user administrative rights but when I go to log in I
still get the same error code. Then If I log back into the built in
account and look at the user I just created the administrative rights I
gave it when I created the account are not highlighted now. Its kinda
strange

Two ways to resolve it.Take ownership this folder what i showed above
or download 'PsTools'
(http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896649.aspx) unpack
file *psexec.exe* and place into folder in *C:\Windows\System32*

and in *cmd.exe* type

PSEXEC -S -I -D EXPLORER.EXE
or

PSEXEC -S -I -D \"-PATH TO FAVORITE ANY GOOD FILE MENAGER-\"
In this way you run explorer.exe from SYSTEM account level and then you
can change permissions C:\Users as you wish

Re: The Application Failed to Initialize properly (0xc0000022) Click Ok to Terminate the

I did some research on the internet & found that it could be a corrupted
user account or a virus infection.

Thanks for looking I appreciate it. I actually did numerous virus scans
and they all came back clean. I also did a couple spyware scans and
those came back clean as well.

Re: The Application Failed to Initialize properly (0xc0000022) Click Ok to Terminate the

Can you also post the file name which is given with the error. Like
explorer.exe the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000022)
click OK to terminate the application.

And also try to create a new admin user account & check if the error is
still there.
