Re: The Vista Death Watch

Ken;
Assuming all your hardware and software is supported by windows Vista
64, it should be stable.
Did the computer come with Vista 64?
Do you have the latest Vista 64 bit drivers?
Is ALL your hardware supported by Vista 64?

Are you able to contribute anything to help the OP?
Apparently not.
Or are you unable to help but feel a need to post so your only
contribution is an attack?
Apparently so.

Most of them and they also use a delimiter for their signature so that
when you use a real newsreader, it nukes everything but the MVP's
useless post.

Yes. Their unspeakably crappy newsreader puts the cursor there, and they're too
dumb (or lazy) to move it. Presumably they also **** in their pants because
that's where their arseholes are.

No, alias, that is your newsreader deleting whatever you do not see.
"it nukes everything"
"it" being your newsreader.
Change your settings or choose to live with what your newsreader does.
However I expect you will keep blaming anything Microsoft because that
is what you feel the need to do regardless of your own choices.

Well, you (as a MVP naturally) are unable to read. Figures, after all you
are a MVP. Those are not expected to have any intelligence worth mentioning

If you /were/ able to understand simple sentences with very small words, you
could have figured that the OP did not ask a question to a nagging problem
he has with Vista

If you would bottom post, no one would have a problem with your posts.
So, it isn't MS to blame but YOU and other top posters who have no
consideration for others. I believe that Windows Fail can be configured
to bottom post.

Re: The Vista Death Watch

If you do not like it, it is up to you to change.
Make the change if you must, but it is not your place to insist others
change to suit your preferences.
So typical of you, to criticize when there is nothing better you can
do.

There in no requirement either way in these newsgroups for top or
bottom posting.
Both are fully acceptable and appropriate.
It is noted that it is usually the Microsoft critics that have a
problem with posting methods.
The rest are usually more flexible and go with the conditions.
However inflexibility is somewhat normal for some of the critics such
as yourself.

Translation: Jupiter doesn't have any respect for others and will
continue to top post regardless of how it affects the posts. Bottom
posting is the only acceptable and logical way to post, your inability
to understand that notwithstanding.

BTW, I bottom posted back when I used OE with 95 and loved all MS
products so your theory is false.

Translation: Alias doesn't have any respect for others because you keep
posting about Ubuntu when others tell you it isn't appropriate here. You
expect people to stop top posting. People expect you to stop preaching
Ubuntu.

Get over it.

Re: The Vista Death Watch

"Translation"
That may be part of your problem.
Instead of attempting to translate to whatever interpretation suits
your agenda, simply read what is written.

"Bottom posting is the only acceptable"
Not at all, top and bottom posting are fully acceptable in these
Microsoft newsgroups.
Your inability to accept that fact is only your limitation.
Of course if you can point to where Microsoft states bottom posting is
expected in the Microsoft newsgroups.
But I have asked you that before and you were strangely silent.

"so your theory is false."
I gave no theory.
Possibly another incorrect "Translation".

It seems you are unable to get past criticisms and deal with the
issues at hand.

JJ's problem is that he's into the MickeyMouse mindset which states: "take
any sort of standard developed in the computer world, ignore that standard
and replace with a MickeyMouse "standard" that effectively breaks the
norm."

We see this ALL the time when it comes to MickeyMouse and is another reason
that people are getting fed up with MickeyMouse.

Usenet has been around a long time and has developed standards. Trust
MickeyMouse and its fan boys to continually try and break those standards.
They are simply pathetic.

Cheers.

Hey numbnuts, the vaste majority of people around here access this ng
through Usenet, not through MickeyMouse's servers. Don't you think it's
time that you accepted that fact and acted accordingly and followed Usenet
standards? You MickeyMouse fan boys have no regard at all to anyone but
yourselves. It's part of the pompous MickeyMouse attitudes you MVP have
become infamous for.

Cheers.

Translation; alias didn't get his way so blusters, insults and lies
about it.
As for not having any respect for others, you are the prime example of
just such a person. Your very presence in this MS Vista ng promoting
your childish toy os is insulting and disrespectful to everyone here.

You always have trouble with the truth don't you. Why not leave if you
don't like it? You don't use Vista, don't have it, can't afford it and
hate it. So leave. You'll be much happier over at the open sores ng's.
