This is quite true;

Any average user is looking a a Mac to replace their current XP or
( Shudder) Vista Box

and Linuxbuilds like Ubunto are really a good replacement for Windows
XP..

( Free too)

Add to that Googles " Cloud Computing" model and , in the future, all
you'll really need is a very simple OS and a browser.

Finally, PDA's call phone mutants are the interface of choice with
most people; carry it with you .

Le't see where Vista leads Microsoft to . .

Re: Linux_and_Mac_OS_X_Eat_Away_at_Windows,_Even_with_XP_SP3_and_Vista_SP1

There was no hate involved moron. Vista has been rejected by all serious
techs and companies, MS knows this and instead of trying to fix the failed
vista, they are moving on hoping to regain some of their lost glory. I know
vista is just stupid, and the same applies to you. The only sales vista is
having is on new computers, mostly by ignorant folk who buy whatever the
salesman pitches.

Mr Retardo, lets make a deal. Stick in this stupid newsgroup which suites
you so well, but don't dare come into the windows7 newsgroup with your crap,
ok?

You have been a pain in the posterior for too long.. I would be glad to be
rid of you.

You combine delusions of grandeur that elevate you godlike status, while at
the same time you degrade everyone you can in order to feel elevated even
more.

You are a schizophrenic moron.... If its not that its some other mental
condition...

You keep insisting to come here for more bashes... suit yourself moron I am
laughing at you ... you are so stupid.

then vista will seem like a stupid little badly designed toy.

CW:

I bought a "late 2007 MacBook" and the following are some of my thoughts:

Where is the ease of use?
The lack of dedicated page up/down keys is frustrating.
The lack of a right mouse button in the keyboard is very irritating.

So, I bought a USB mouse for my new MacBook to have a right click button.
New problem: merely tapping the table wakes the sleeping MacBook when the
USB mouse is connected.
Ridiculous.

Other limitations of my MacBook/OS X:
Cannot do NetBT browsing of MS Windows network
Open Firmware Protection does not block hard disk boot
No NG reader
No phishing blocking in Safari
Leopard's Firewall is weak: is an application filter sans socket filtering
For WiFi:
No global setting to block ad hoc usage
No indication of type of wireless network before connecting
Preferred networks are automatically connected to only
Icon for user does not indicate existence of password
No "system restore" functionality
No desktop level notification of network link failure
Lack of Cancel button for most settings dialogs
No disk activity light
No Ethernet port activity light
USB mouse cannot set wheel for one page scrolling

Vista on my Dell portable does not have these limitations, and is very
stable. My new MacBook is booted once or twice a month, my Dell-Vista combo
is used
every day.

Does it sound like my MacBook is a "stupid little badly designed toy"?
