The use of IE5.5 may give up certain protections & improvements of IE6,
but IE6 isn't getting any new ones, anyhow.
Yes, one should keep the two .dll's handy for a switch back to get a new
Windows Update or to run the IE Repair Tool. Chauvin actually wrote an
app to do that & also should be thanked for that info. But MS has
stopped providing updates to IE6 for Win98. Also, it is exceedingly rare
one need to run the IE Repair tool (or that it would fix anything if
run, even).
